I know, I am a HORRIBLE person for posting this on the internet for you all to see, but rest assured he actually did fine waiting in line (a little over an hour - not bad!) and he even waved (a tearful) "bye-bye" to Santa when we left. Shawn and I will no doubt show this to him when he's 15.

Is it bad that I positively LOVE the screaming child Santa pictures? Another friend posted a similar picture of her little girl on her blog (only friend's husband had to sit with Santa too). Amy won't take Abigail and Benjamin to see Santa because she feels like a bad mom because they cry. I'm wicked enough that I'll do it just because they cry. :)
No, I don't think it's bad!! I'm glad I'm not the only one!! Didn't Amy have a pic of Abby when she was little, crying with Santa? I seem to remember you sending me that pic. I did feel bad that he was scared, but he got over it REALLY quickly and I don't think he'll be emotionally scarred.
The last pic Abby had with santa looked very similar to that one.... I'll e-mail it.
Natalie was the complete opposite. She just sat on his lap, basically saying..."what's the big deal!" We finally got a smile out of her, and they were all upset because she wasn't looking at the camera. Like it really matters when they are that young, the more important fact is that they saw and sat on Santa's lap. I'll post her picture here soon.
I can't wait to see Natalie's picture! Last year Hagen just sort of had a surprised look on his face (he was only 6 months old).
Hagen is such a good little boy! There is NO WAY that Sam would stand in line. We had to settle for a picture in front of the tree this year. Oh, and I loved the picture of Hagen on the Christmas card! He looked sooo cute in his little vest.
Sam's pictures were cute, Emily! Haha, thanks - I loved that vest - the old-fashioned station wagon with a tree on top. I loved it!! :-)
